These are upcycled tempered glass that was fused into two bowls and a plate. We rescued the broken glass before the company could throw it out. These are beautiful pieces that really catch the light.
One man’s trash...
In Mobile, Alabama we stumbled across a company that was throwing all of their broken tempered glass in the trash. Since it couldn’t be recycled, this seemed like such a shame. We gathered up a big tub of it to take back to the studio to experiment with. These vessels are what we came up with.
