Eggs Frozen In Time.
Multiple sources came together to create this piece. The outside egg is pâte de verre while the inner egg is made of blown glass.
Frozen in time...
The frosted look of the outside egg was carried inside to the sandblasted blown egg. To finish off the look, it was mounted on a stand made of recycled fused tempered glass.
Beautiful from all angles...
To add more texture to the piece, different sized frit balls were attached to the outside surface. This was one of our first attempts at our version of a Fabergé egg.
